One of life's most fascinating sights is the set-up and inflation of a hot air balloon. People are always astonished at how small everything is when it comes out of the trailer. Their amazement increases as the balloon fills with air and grows to the height of seven stories.
As the crew and passengers hold the mouth of the balloon open, a powerful fan fills it with cold air. When the inflation is complete, the balloon will have over four tons of air in it.
The entire top of the balloon is the deflation port, and the panel must be replaced before the balloon will fill with air once again.
Once the balloon is packed, the pilot turns on the burners and the air begins to heat up. The burners are incredibly powerful.
The heat from the burners causes the balloon to gently rise to the upright position. It only takes a minute or two and the balloon is suddenly ready for its passengers.

Once the balloon is stabilized, the passengers receive their call and the adventure begins.
The world takes on a whole new perspective as the balloon floats above it. The passengers are treated to an experience unlike any other as the ground gently drops beneath them. A hot air balloon ride is the closest any of us will come to soaring on the wind like the birds.
